Job Description
We’re hiring for an exceptionally skilled Front-End Developer who is ready to make an immediate impact. You will be responsible for building the ‘front end’ of web applications.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Higher Degree in CS
- Excellent ability to convert requirements and PSD mockups into fully functioning websites using HTML/CSS/JS.
- Demonstrated proficiency in HTML and CSS layout / positioning.
- Experience using JS Frameworks (jQuery, etc.)
- Must have experience of leading team, loyal, dedicated and hardworking.
- Can do attitude.
- Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions.
- Experience developing with prototype frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation, etc.)
- Familiarity developing with CSS pre-processors (LESS, SASS, etc.)
- Knowledge of version control systems (SVN/GitHub etc.)
- Working experience in Magento 1 & 2 will be plus.
- Knowledge of React, Angular, Vue Js will be plus
- Professional understanding of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Design Banners, Email Templates, CMS Pages, Block, Transaction Emails.
- Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performant visual effects and keeping the framerate above 30fps at all times
- Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Documenting the code inline using JSDoc or other conventions
- Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD task
- Knowledge of Java will be a plus
