Software Quality Assurance Engineer Job Description:
We’re looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance & Support Engineer. The candidate should assume responsibility, exercise leadership, seek new challenges, take initiatives, thinking out of the box and should be a good team player.
- Required Tech Skills
- Proven 2+ years Experience in SQA
- Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
- investigate customer problems referred by technical support..
- Monitor program performance to ensure efficient and problem-free operations.
- Must be Hands on with with at least one end-to-end Product/Project SDLC, Requirement Life cycle to QA and Post Deployment Support
- Coordinate user or third party testing.
- Provide technical support during software installation or configuration.
- Strong Skills in Software Documentation and user manuals.
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
- Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
- Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
- Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
- Working knowledge of agile development methodologies and practices
- Good to have Experience in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Must be open to adapt new technologies
