HCMway is looking to hire a senior software Engineer for one of our International Client Company.
About the Company:
We are Safeer Information technology part of Bustanji Group in the Middle East.We have multiple companies and startups . Our company is in the expansion phase and we are looking to have an IT office in Lahore, Pakistan. Our new IT office will be related to a product which is a competitor to uber & careem in Jordan and it is called petra ride which is already up & running in Amman, Jordan.
About the Role
As Senior Software Engineer, you will be a part of a cross-functional team developing the highly scalable and reliable mobile applications that our customers use every day. You will work with a group of highly talented and motivated individuals to help shape the experiences that our captains and customers interact with every day on our platform. You will be asked to take difficult business problems and turn them into delightful and reliable user experiences which allow our users to work on our platform. Your focus will be around helping lead the team to create an engaging user experience and building core app functionality which works in a hybrid online/offline manner.
Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Object-oriented design, data-structures and algorithms.
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Must be able to write clean and maintainable code (must love coding!) Python is a must!
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions; deal with loosely defined problems and fast changing requirements & think abstractly
- Passionate about learning new technologies and working on a product of massive scale and impact
- Able to communicate effectively
- Attention to detail
- Extensive backend programming experience in one or more of the following: Golang, Javascript, Python
- Worked with event-driven architectures
- Experience in multi-tiered distributed systems, web services, APIs, and relational & NoSQL databases
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time.
- Able to take individual ownership of a project from start to finish.
- Experienced in developing Web Services with Python, JSON
- Skilled experience in Python libraries (NumPy, Pandas dataframe)
- Ride Hailing & Delivery applications experience.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of AWS
- Knowledge of clean code principles
- Deep understanding of design patterns
- Demonstrated ability of test driven development
- Knowledge of descriptive statistics and probability theory.
